Los Angeles, is no longer a city of Angels.
It all began with the death of Nixa. The daughter of the powerful British goddess Brigid, Nixa became a Dark Hunter with extraordinary power. She was the one who kept the large number of daimons in the city under control. No diamond dared mess with her. Until a Spathi, straight from Kalosis, came. Nixa fought him but in her arrogance she died. The power of the Dark Hunters in LA was broken and the five other Dark Hunters fell like dominos into the dust of the city streets.
The Daimons quickly took over the city, turning it into the perfect hunting ground for human souls. The Mortals were shocked when their crime rates began to rise beyond another place in the world. They had no idea that they were no longer safe anywhere within the city of Los Angeles.
The future of LA looked bleak but the Dark Hunter leader, Acheron, would not give up so easily. He chose the best fighters from among the Dark Hunter ranks and sent them to LA to combat the Daimons and take back the city, to make it safe from darkness once more.
